What sort of footwear do I need?
Comfortable, sturdy walking shoes, hiking boots, or trainers with good grip are strongly recommended. Coastal paths and grassy trails can be uneven, slick, or muddy depending on recent tides and weather.

How long does the tour last?
Most standard guided walks last between 2 and 2.5 hours, giving ample time to take in the views, listen to local folklore, and pause for photos without feeling rushed.

Is the tour physically taxing?
Our walks are conducted at a relaxed, gentle pace suitable for most everyday fitness levels. There are some steady inclines and uneven terrain along the cliffs, but we make regular stops to share stories and admire the landscape.

What happens if the typical Northern Irish weather turns sour?
Tours proceed in most conditions, including light rain and typical coastal mist, so please bring a waterproof jacket. If extreme weather or severe wind warnings make the cliff paths unsafe, we will offer to reschedule or provide a full refund under our cancellation policy.

Are your trails suitable for children, pushchairs, or dogs?

Children of all ages are very welcome on the walks.

Many coastal clifftop paths are uneven and stepped, making them unsuitable for pushchairs or prams.

Well-behaved dogs on leads can join selected routes.

Are there mobility restrictions people should know about?
Because we explore natural coastal cliff paths and grassy headlands, surfaces can be steep and uneven, which unfortunately makes parts of the trail challenging for wheelchair users. Please get in touch beforehand so we can advise on the most suitable routes.

How do guests join your tour and how far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking in advance through our website to secure your preferred date, especially during peak summer months. Our meeting points in Castlerock feature nearby vehicle parking and are within easy walking distance of the Castlerock train station and local bus links.
